God, I thank You for Your forgiveness. Before repenting and living for You, I did awful things against You. Yet, in all that ugliness, You forgave me. Not only that, but Your forgiveness came at the price of Your only Son. Even now as a Christian, I know I fall short in a lot of ways.
Still, You forgive. Your mercies are new each morning. You look at me and see Your Son rather than my iniquity. God, I ask that You teach me that kind of forgiveness. I ask that You empower me to forgive quickly and completely those who wrong me.
Any wrong done against me is nothing compared to the wrong done against Christ. Fill me with Your love, O God, and allow me to show Your love to everyone around me.
I thank You for all that You have done for me and thank You that You have made me a vessel for Your love. In Jesus’ name, and for His glory I pray. Amen.
